Our Structure

I-BFM is structured into the Board of Directors, the Advisory Board and the Assembly of Delegates (representatives from each participating national study group).

The Board of Directors of I-BFM consists of the Executive Board (Chairman and Deputy Chairman) and the Extended Board (Past President, Committee Chairs, the Treasurer and the Scientific Coordinator).

The Executive Board is responsible for the overall coordination and for providing strategic guidance to the study group. It is authorized to form the Committees, to elect the Committee Chairs and to appoint corresponding members. The Executive Board manages the day-to-day business of the Association. It decides on the budget, personnel and scientifically relevant issues as well as engages the partners in long-term strategic directions and decisions.
